SimplyRCS is our product; it is scored on the same published facts as everyone else. There is no ranking here. The vendors are listed alphabetically.
This page is the scorecard: twelve vendors on what each one publishes, with no ranking. If your customers are in the United States, the buying criteria (carriers, verification, TCPA, security, AI, migration) are on how to choose an RCS platform for US brands. For the short version, best RCS providers covers the four provider categories and how to compare them. If you are moving off Twilio specifically, see Twilio alternatives for RCS; if the AI agent is the deciding feature, see AI chatbot builders for RCS. Looking for marketing software rather than a messaging provider? SMS marketing platforms that support RCS checks Attentive, Klaviyo, Braze and others on whether they have shipped it.

How we scored
Each column answers one question.
- Published US RCS pricing. Can you see a per-message or per-month dollar figure for US RCS on the vendor's own site, without asking sales?
- Who files verification. Does the vendor say who submits the RCS sender (and the brand behind it) to the carriers: you, or them?
- Stated time to go live. Does the vendor publish how long it takes from sign-up to a first verified RCS send?
Fallback, AI safeguards, carrier connections and contract terms are not in the table, because we did not check them on every vendor's site; ask each vendor in writing. SimplyRCS's answers: automatic SMS and MMS fallback; the AI only picks replies the business wrote, with STOP and HELP handled before any bot or AI; direct connections to AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile; no contracts or monthly minimums.
Every cell uses only what the vendor publishes on its own site. We checked those pages on 7 and 8 October 2026. "Not published" means we could not find the fact on the vendor's own pages. It does not mean the vendor lacks the feature; it means you will need to ask. Bandwidth's site could not be checked on 7 October 2026, so its cells say "Not checked" except for its contract-based pricing. Third-party reviews, analyst reports and sales calls were not used.
The vendors
Bandwidth
Bandwidth is a US communications API provider that sells messaging on contract. RCS rates come with the negotiated contract and are not published. We could not check its site on 7 October 2026, so verification, fallback, AI and carrier details are not scored here. See SimplyRCS vs Bandwidth.
Bird
Bird (formerly MessageBird) is an omnichannel messaging suite. Its RCS pricing page says RCS is in private beta, with a Contact Sales route. No US rates, verification process, fallback, AI limits, carrier connections or contract terms for RCS are published. See SimplyRCS vs Bird.
EZ Texting
EZ Texting is a texting app sold on credits. Its pricing page sets 1 credit at $0.03 but publishes no RCS price. Verification, fallback, AI, carrier and contract details for RCS are not published. See SimplyRCS vs EZ Texting.
Infobip
Infobip is an omnichannel communications platform. Its RCS pricing page gives no dollar rates. It gives relative guidance instead: Basic is "often priced similarly to SMS", Single is around 20 to 30% higher, and Conversational is about twice the price of SMS. Verification, fallback, AI limits, carrier connections and contract terms are not published. See SimplyRCS vs Infobip.
LINK Mobility
LINK Mobility is a messaging provider. Its RCS page publishes no pricing and no launch timeline. The other columns are not published either. See SimplyRCS vs LINK Mobility.

SimplyRCS
SimplyRCS is our product. It charges $0.0039 per RCS Rich text segment and per SMS segment, and $0.0150 per RCS Rich Media message (any card, carousel, image, video or file) and per MMS. Carrier fees are passed through at cost on their own line. There is no monthly platform, seat or agent fee. RCS Sender ID setup and review is a one-time $250 per sender, waived with optional Premium Support ($250 a month). The software, API, bots, inbox, analytics and email support are free.
SimplyRCS files the registrations for you: brand, 10DLC, toll-free and RCS sender. The first verified US send is targeted in 2 to 4 weeks. Messages fall back to SMS or MMS automatically. The AI builds bots from a plain-English description, and in conversations it only chooses among replies the business wrote. STOP and HELP are handled by the platform before any bot or AI. SimplyRCS is US only, with direct connections to AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, holds SOC 2 Type II, and has no contracts or monthly minimums. Rates are on the pricing page.

Sinch is a global communications provider. Its RCS pricing page shows $0.0078 per Rich message and $0.0188 per Rich Media message, footnoted as pricing for international traffic, with domestic traffic by contact. So no US rate is published. Fallback, AI, carrier and contract details for RCS are not published on those pages. See SimplyRCS vs Twilio.
Vonage
Vonage is a communications API provider. Its Messages pricing page prices RCS per message by tier (Basic, Rich, Rich Media) but publishes no US rates. Its RCS support article says you submit the agent in the dashboard, Vonage reviews it and submits it to carriers after Aegis, and in the US it can take up to 3 months to launch an agent. Fallback, AI, carrier and contract details are not published. See SimplyRCS vs Vonage.
How to choose
Answer these about your own programme, then put the same questions to every vendor on your list.
- Who will run it? A marketing team without engineers needs an app with campaigns, an inbox and analytics. An engineering team embedding messaging needs a full API. Do you need one, or both?
- What is the full bill at your volume? Add per-message rates, carrier fees, one-time sender fees, monthly plan fees and support fees. Can you build that total from published numbers, or do you need a quote? The ROI calculator helps with the sum.
- Who files verification, and how long does it take? Published timelines range from days to up to 3 months. Will you fill in the forms, or will the vendor?
- What happens on phones without RCS? Does the vendor fall back to SMS or MMS automatically, or do you build that?
- What can the AI say? If a bot answers customers, can it write new text, or only choose from replies you approved? Does opt-out handling run before it?
- Do you only send in the US? If so, ask each vendor to name its AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile connections. If you send abroad, check which countries each one covers.
- What are you signing? Is there a contract, a commitment or a monthly minimum? What happens to your senders if you leave?

Frequently asked questions
What is the best RCS business messaging platform?
There is no single answer. It depends on who runs the programme, your volume, and whether you send only in the US. Score each vendor on published pricing, who files verification, SMS fallback, AI safeguards, US carrier connections and contract terms, and ask for anything that is not published.
What is the best RCS messaging platform for a small business?
For a small business the deciding factors are usually no engineering, no contract and a bill you can predict. Check whether the vendor publishes per-message rates, files verification for you, and requires a contract or minimum. For reference, SimplyRCS publishes $0.0039 per RCS Rich text segment and per SMS segment, $0.0150 per Rich Media message and per MMS, no monthly platform fee, a one-time $250 RCS Sender ID setup per sender (waived with Premium Support), registrations filed for you, and no contracts or monthly minimums.
Why is there no ranking?
Because every cell uses only what each vendor publishes on its own site, and vendors publish different things. A ranking would reward disclosure rather than fit. The vendors are listed alphabetically; rank them yourself against the questions under How to choose, and ask each one in writing for anything marked "Not published". If your customers are in the United States, how to choose an RCS platform for US brands sets out the six criteria that decide it.
How much do RCS platforms cost?
Published structures vary. Twilio lists $0.0083 per Rich segment and $0.022 per Rich Media message plus a $500 one-time carrier onboarding fee and $200 a year for Aegis. Plivo lists $0.00770 and $0.01800. RCS Studio sells monthly plans from $149. Sinch publishes international rates only, and Infobip, Vonage, Bandwidth, Bird and LINK Mobility publish no US dollar rates. SimplyRCS charges $0.0039 and $0.0150 with carrier fees at cost and no monthly platform fee. Always model the total, not the headline rate.
Do all RCS platforms handle sender verification?
No. Verification is the most common launch blocker. Twilio and Vonage publish that you submit the sender and they review it. TrueDialog says it helps get the profile approved. SimplyRCS files the registrations for you. Most of the others do not publish who files. Ask directly: who files and manages my carrier approval?
Can I switch RCS platforms later?
Yes. Your brand verification, contacts (with consent records) and message templates can be set up again with a new provider, though the new sender needs approval again. A platform with data export and no long-term contract makes switching easier, so check contract terms up front.
Is an API-only platform or a full platform better?
If you have engineers and want messaging built into your product, an API works, though you will build campaign tools, bots and analytics yourself. If a marketing or operations team will run messaging, a full platform saves that build. SimplyRCS includes both the app and the API at no software cost.
